Auditions
OAcademy's 2026 Open Call starts in May 2025.
Early Bird bursaries are available for applications received before July 15, 2025.
Selection and Interviews
- After submitting your audition materials, our panel will review your application and contact you via email.
- If your application is shortlisted, you will be invited to an online interview with members of our academic team.
- Following the interview, we will inform you of the outcome by email.
Enrollment
If you are selected to become an OAcademy Fellow, you will receive an official Acceptance Letter outlining the next steps to complete your enrollment.
Your place in the Cohort is only confirmed upon receipt of your enrollment fee or a deposit, which must be submitted within two weeks of being invited to take part. All enrollment fee payments are non-refundable.
Schedule
The Orchestra Institute Artist Diploma is a 6-month program starting mid-January and finishing at the end of June 2026. The calendar includes a 2-week break in March/April.
OAcademy's full cohort activities take place on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10:00 AM and 1:30 PM Eastern Time (New York). Fellows should make space in their agendas to attend all live sessions, including 30 minutes for pre-session technical checks (9:30 am ET).
- Attendance is mandatory for all Fellows in the first session of each day (10:00 - 11:30 AM ET).
- Masterclasses (11:45 AM - 1:30 PM ET) are mandatory for their respective instrumental families.
Fellows become part of an Instrumental Studio led by one of OAcademy's Studio Faculty, and this group may vary from 3 to 7 participants. Instrumental classes follow an independent agenda to be discussed and self-scheduled between Fellows and Faculty.
All Fellows are invited and encouraged to attend all Masterclasses. In addition to live sessions, Fellows are anticipated to allocate personal time weekly for preparatory work and graded assessments.
Complimentary OAcademy sessions, such as Student Hours and enhancement seminars, offer additional chances to meet with OAcademy Faculty. These will be outside the regular schedule on Thursdays or Fridays and attendance is optional.
