About

OAcademy reinvents the music conservatory experience by making world-class training accessible for talented musicians globally, and relevant to the challenges and opportunities of our time.

The rise of OAcademy

The performing arts world is changing rapidly, yet many institutions are reluctant to adapt to shifts in the sector. Music instruction has increasingly lost touch with how to prepare graduates for real-world career success effectively. And access to elite-level training at top conservatories is often limited to those with the means to live in large urban centers.

„The realities of the music profession are never mentioned. Rather, myths are built up.”

David Burge, Pianist

Reinventing music education

We bring together the sharpest minds, foremost mentors, and leading global institutions to nurture the talent of tomorrow by providing a carefully curated toolkit to succeed in an ever-transforming field.

Our evolution

OAcademy reflects two decades of experience and network building by the Orchestra of the Americas Group, preparing 2000+ orchestral musicians to occupy top jobs around the world — combined with the know-how of Ivy League-curated MBA in Arts Innovation through its groundbreaking initiative The Global Leaders Institute.

„Classical schools will be forever beholden to the dwindling number of orchestras unless they adopt a broader view of music as their driving curriculum. We must become innovators, before we fossilize.”

Rolling Stone
